We have finally had rain here in my part of New Mexico. There hadn’t been any to speak of all spring or so far this summer until Wednesday. Last night there was even more. It was gentle rain both times.
Aside from the great news about the rain, there was additional good news: the coating Bob put on the roof of my camper seems to have done the trick. Last winter when the snow all melted, I had a leak — even thought the guy we bought it from swore he had just coated it in the fall. It wasn’t major, but it was right over the bed. This is a big improvement!
There is more rain in the forecast. I am not holding my breath that it will actually come, but it would be nice. It won’t take many dry, hot days to bring the dust back.
